J14A-38TK Ultra-Small Shielded Rectangular Connector, Solder-Cup Aviation Cable Plug

J14A-38TK is a high-density rectangular electrical connector with metal shield in the J14A series. It adopts a push-pull double-safety locking structure and a rounded-corner anti-misinsertion design, featuring compact size, high integration, anti-interference and anti-loosening performance. With solder cup termination for wire harness processing, it complies with Q/21EJ330 standard, and is widely used in airborne equipment, military electronics, precision measurement and control instruments, ground test systems and other high-end interconnection scenarios.

Precautions for Use

1.Do not use beyond rated electrical parameters. Rated current per contact is 5A. Overload operation is forbidden to prevent contact burnout and insulation breakdown.
2.Never mate or unmate the connector when powered on. Cut off power before connection or separation to avoid terminal arc burn and poor contact.
Pre-mating inspection: Check jacks and housing for deformation, oxidation, oil and dust; ensure insulator without crack or defect, and clear foreign objects inside the port.
3.Align the positioning guide structure before mating, insert horizontally and smoothly. Do not insert obliquely, knock or pry forcibly to avoid jack damage. Recommended tightening torque for locking screw: 0.2~0.25N·m. Thread anti-loosening treatment can be applied if needed.
4.Select matched wire for crimp assembly, recommended cross-section 0.2~0.5mm². Fully insert conductor into contact barrel, insulation shall not enter crimp zone. Cross wiring between contacts is prohibited.
5.Avoid tensile force and repeated bending stress on connectors during wiring. Keep away from high-temperature heat sources and sharp metal edges to reduce risk of contact failure caused by continuous vibration.
6.Storage & protection: Keep connector port dry and clean, prevent invasion of oil, moisture and corrosive gas. Store in dry and ventilated place for long-term storage.
7.Mechanical mating life: 1000 cycles. Repeated mating will reduce contact stability. Periodic contact resistance test is required for high-reliability application scenarios.
